We plan to organise for the World HPV championships 2006 a time trial climbing from the church (left of the above picture) to the ruine of Allègre's castle. It would be like a "fun" race but fun only for the spectators as the average climb is around 9 % with maximum slopes around 14 %.

Most monuments were build during the Roman period, from 9th to 11th century.

After one week in Allègre, we feel like we knew each others for years. Many of us are friends since we rode together on the roads around Allègre. We wish you the same.
