With the trike turned upside down, the two rods linking steering tube to the wheels can be taken off. All couplings are of pin-ball type, and do not require tools, other than a screwdriver or similar, to open. The four outriggers are then folded straight up, here two are there already.   NOTE   normally hidden from view bicycle pump inside the U-shaped front boom, and, by the looks of it, extremely rigid "flattened forked conical" rear stays part. Having all that stiffness in abundance did not come cheap, however: it contributed directly to Carbonal's frame cost and weight, making it as heavy (and pretty expensive) as an all- steel welded one.

Folding it only took another minute.
