I have tried several positions with my two-year-old son, none of which he enjoys very much:
1) sitting on a seat mounted on my rear rack
2) sitting on my handle bars
3) strapping him to my back

The traditional seats here in Taiwan have the children sit on the top post between the saddle and the handle bars. This seems good, but my bike has a brake wire along the top of the top post.
I have also seen towed cars for up to two children sitting side by side. I am going to have a daughter in June, so that will be one infant and one 2.5 year old. Any suggestions on how I can take them cycling with me comfortably?
I would especially like to hear from anyone with experience cycling with small children.
