Yes - our prototype had a folding pull handle attached to the front 
via a modified headset, with it's own brake lever (essential for those 
downhill manouvers when you are standing in front!)  I think it was 
intended as a parking device eg. for backing the bike into a tight 
corner, rather than an uphill towbar.  I don't think it's fitted to the 
current models.  We've taken ours off to save weight, as we didn't 
use it very often.  Putting your feet down and pushing the bike 
backwards with them while steering works well with practice.
