I had the chance to try out an Xtracycle yesterday. It's a retro-fit
for a conventional bike that extends the frame rearwards, replacing
the back wheel which is displaced about 18 inches back. You add
extra chain and cables, and it's ready to go.

It comes with two large bags and an upper deck made of plywood.
The deck removes and the steel tubes which support it can be
inserted sideways to give a wider carrying platform. It also has
removeable footrests for carrying a passenger.

Apart from the bigger turning circle, you wouldn't know you were
riding a workbike.

The contact I have for Xtracycle is Kipchoge Spencer - email
kipchogenotkip@hotmail.com

They also have a website at http://www.xtracycle.com
