The Bike Friday.
All folded up, i.e. the bike at its most compact. Observe that the steering tube needs to be removed from the stem and placed atop the frame, although no cables need actually by disconnected (yet). Unfortunately it is not an easy to handle "package", unlike the self- locking Brompton. In this state the bike may be put into a shoulder canvas bag (made by the company), and taken aboard a bus, or a train, as a normal, not oversize piece of luggage. To put it into the suitcase, however, both wheels have to be removed, and much additional disassembly and then intricate fitting in of parts at specific angles and in order is needed.
Of particular interest is the extremely- well done handlebar; it is made up of three independent parts, a straight middle tube, and two T-form handles which are fitted either end of the middle part, at whatever individual angles that one may desire. This is the only handlebar know to me, that permits having two different "angles of attack" for both hands.
