Having met my first Leitra, I was not late to test-ride it and examine in every detail. Of particular interest here are the four thick carbon-fibre- epoxy springs that constitute the front suspension.. not too soft, not too hard nor unresponsive; simply  a d e q a t e  for that kind of mass of a single driver and lightweight vehicle (the Leitra used to be suspended only in front, but now on all three wheels). The drivetrain is via an intermediate axle with two sprockets in the middle (sometimes gears), which allows it to use smaller chain wheel, than would otherwise be required for this 20in drive-wheel vehicle.
