Another one of Werner Stiffel's  i d e a  bikes, a long- wheelbase model with an unbelievable amount of rear shock travel (20-30 cm!), experimental front suspension, and a novel textile half- fairing. This bike is actually more like a dynamic, rideable test- bed for Stiffel, rather than a more- or- less finished product like his foldabent model.
From aerodynamic point of view any, even tiny fairing is better than none. Nevertheless, the bigger it is, the more it acts like a sail in windy conditions and makes it harder to keep the bike on course. The novelty of this solution is therefore, that it really is a foldable fairing (here folded in half), to be easily made bigger or smaller as the need may be. Next picture explains it all in words- are- superflouos fashion.
