In October 2024, Patek Philippe announced a new collection called Cubitus. This is of course big news, as it has been about twenty-five years since the last collection (Twenty-4) was released. Just last month, we covered the Cubitus collection in detail and shared our overall thoughts on the Ref. 5821/1A. We noted that the Ref. 5821/1A is probably the most sought-after of the three new Cubitus creations, as it is made of stainless steel and is more affordable (due to relatively fewer complications and precious metals). On the other hand, the Nautilus collection also lacks many exciting highlights.
Patek Philippe Cubitus Ref. 5822P-001 The Cubitus Ref. 5822P-001 watch is the most complicated (and most expensive) of all the new creations. While it’s not as popular as the steel chronograph date model, it’s certainly the most intriguing piece from a design and mechanics standpoint.
