WORLD HPV CHAMPIONSHIPS 2006

Allegre, 5 August - 11 August 2006

  Thanks to all participants, resailers, volunteers and spectators for coming to Allegre and having made a friendly atmosphere during these championships.

  Congratulations to the overall winner Hans Wessels, to Denis Lotte, second, and to Charles Henry, third, and, to women, the victorious Barbara Buatois, to Danielle Van Der Waard, second, and to Ellen Van Vugt, third, for their astonishing results.

  We hope we see you again, in Belgium for the 2007 championships (in Namur the 27/28/29 of July 2007) or for cycling tours in Allegre (dates to be confirmed: 14th to 20th of July 2007). See you.

Registration : on-ligne registration is compulsory in order to attribute numbers to competitors. Anyway, payment of registration fees will from now on be made in Allegre.

Registration fee: last chance to pay 45 euros until the 1st of July then 60 euros
(25 euros if aged 10-13, 35 euros if 14-17, 60 euros if multiple-persons vehicle).

  Prologue : individual timetrial of 12 km between the villages of Allegre and Saint-Paulien
 -Saturday the 5th of August from 3pm to 6pm-

  Hillclimb : individual timetrial of 15% grade in the village of Allegre
 -Sunday the 6th of August from 9am to 12am-

  Road criterium : undulating circuit of 4 x 18 km

  CYCLING TOURS :

  On the menu of the 4-day tour :

      
  The Altiligerienne, a new cycling tour of 238 km (also available 77 km, 140 km, 183 km): on Friday the 11th of August, we will propose to the long-suffering riders a real Tour of Haute-Loire through the various landscapes of the Plateau de la Chaise-Dieu, the Brivadois, the Gorges de l'Allier, the Gorges de la Loire, the Plateau du Mezenc, the Massif du Meygal, the Gorges de l'Arzon.

  each day a different circuit, with a choice between 30km, 50km , 70 km, 90km or 120km

  each circuit includes the visit of a historical monument, a craftman's workshop, reaching a summit or the degustation of french gastronomy

  you will discover the million-year volcanoes of centeral France, its typical black-or-red-stone constructions, its quiet roads amidst the pine forests at 1000m altitude.

  the city of Le Puy, one of Unesco's world heritage site.
