Streetglider takes to the road!

Developed by a professional team, Streetglider was designed from the outset to be a fast, handlable road machine. Crowder Frewing Associates worked closely with George Longstaff to develop the definitive SWB recumbent bike, and the result is impressive.

Built of Reynolds 531 tubing and the equivalent aerospace specification oversize tube, Streetglider carries the "Designer Select" Reynolds 531 badge only granted to machines built by a handful of registered frame builders in Britain.

Having now joined forces with FutureCycles UK, the team's design, marketing, sales and hire are all handled from under the same Sussex roof. Streetglider - launched in 1994 - was first on public display at the Lancaster Cycle 'Fest in July where its reputation was quickly established.

Undoubtedly impressed by the superior build quality and its excellent handling, Mike Burrows - designer of the famous Windcheetah and olympic winning Lotus bike - was moved to refer to it as "a most impressive machine!". It has also been referred to as "the best short wheelbase HPV ever seen !" The response resulting from coverage in Encycleopedia has been most encouraging. A number of bike magazines have expressed an interest in publishing a full review.

If you wish to come to Sussex (in the UK) to try it for yourself or if you would like further information about Streetglider please phone FutureCycles UK on +44 (0)342 822847, fax us on +44 (0)342 826 726 or email to us at streetglider@jjohnson.demon.co.uk
